| About me: | Hallo, (...for english version: see below :-) herzlich willkommen zu meiner Site auf mymusic.net. Nach vielen Jahren live-Musik (von Deutsch-Pop über Soul bis hin zu Karneval (!) und Country) war es in den letzten 3 Jahren an der Zeit, meine musikalischen Ideen zu jazzy-loungy easy-listening-Songs in Ruhe und kompromisslos zu verwirklichen. Dabei entstand die Idee zum Instrumental-Projekt RHINISH TUNES (inspiriert vom Fluss ...) ´N bisschen "Fachliches" für Euch: Alle tracks sind mit dem Hardware-Sequencer des Synthesizers „EX5“ von Yamaha entstanden. Es ist kein einziges Sample oder Pattern verwendet, sondern jede einzelne Note ist „von Hand“ eingespielt, lediglich bei Bedarf ein bisschen gerade gerückt worden (quantisiert, vor allem bei Schlagzeugspuren und beim Bass): Das heißt: old-school and handcrafted. Mixing und Mastering im PC über gute Kopfhörer und mäßige Monitore (zur besseren Abschätzung der Monokompatibilität und des “überall-gut-kling"-Masters). In Kürze erscheinen mein Debut-CD-Album, RHINISH TUNES Vol. I, sowie die Nachfolger Vol. II und III, da ich ca. 40 Songs für das Projekt (fast) fertig habe. After having done a lot of music stuff in the last couple of years (different styles, from german-pop to soul, funk and even some folk and country-music) now is the time for something new in my musical career: My smooth-jazzy, loungy project "RHINISH TUNES" (the name is inspired by the river of rhine where I live). A word to the "making of": RHINISH TUNES is about instrumental music in a one-man-show: the idea is to bring all my musical thoughts and emotions together and realise some albums where every single note is played by myself (except some quanitsation f.e. on the drums, but no samples used): i.e. old-school and handcrafted music.
